advanced PowerPoint presentation, file and folder management, Inspiration & information organization, computer assembly, computer software and hardware, and computer operating process.
Course Requirement: students are required to meet with the computer teacher 45 minutes each day for 6 weeks to develop technology based projects. Students will learn the skills through developing six projects and a Powerpoint digital portfolio as final assessment project.
Course Projects:
- create and organize files & folders according to subjects,
- create an artistic multimedia production in PowerPoint, that incorporates animation, transition, graphics, audio, and video,
- follow safety procedure to assemble computer external hardware devices,
- create a flow chart in Inspiration to describe computer operating process and the hardware involved in the process,
- create a concept map for the types of software programs in Inspiration
- develop a hardware and software specification for purchasing a computer.
Assessment: Final Assessment Project- Digital Portfolio
